Introducing our Ultra-Modern Baby Paradise!

Painting wee one's room was a labor of love because I've never painted before in my life. It took two and a half days to apply two coats of paint to the walls, paint the trim and doors.

And I never would have even tried to do it myself without the guidance of Ninny Fabulous. She helped select the paint color and gave me nice crisp lines to paint within :)

The color is Miss Dior bright and has the lovely name "Enchanted Forest." The painting was not finished in this picture, thus why it's a bit splotchy above the shelf.

And Ta-Da: It's baby fabulousness! I applied the dots to the walls yesterday

and organized the room.

A lovely reading/play table given to me by my good friend Dana from work as a parting gift when I left.

Rock-a-bye wee one in my ultra suede modern rocker! I love this thing! It's like a big pillow custom fit to my short little body!

*Finishing touches will include washing everything, putting up curtains, a few more wall hangings, vacuuming and cleaning. But we're getting close! It's soooooooo exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
