Squeazing Some Fun Into the Wait Time

We know that our paperwork reached Chicago last Tuesday, July 3 at 8:14 a.m. We don't know when we will get our paperwork back, but I'm hoping for the end of this week. In the meantime, we had to find some fun stuff to do to pass the time.

Heather the Party Princess and Ninny Fabulous took me Friday afternoon to create a custom perfume as my birthday present. It was fun to bring out my inner chemist. You mix together about 15 different scents to create your own custom blend. Each of us ended up with a fabulously unique fragrance. I named mine Aesthetic Perfection. Princess named hers Seduction. Ninny named hers 13. Pictured below are my fragrance bottles and a picture of me creating my masterpiece.


Not to be outdone, Picard took his alone time on Friday to scour the city for an iPhone. It took some convincing to get him to spend the money on himself, but once the decision was made, he was completely obsessed. It's been a natural extension of his arm every since. So, while we wait, I can endlessly sniff myself and Al can play with his new phone until he needs carpal tunnel surgery.
