Meet Miss Dior: a fashionista with a Data-like logical side. Married to Captain Picard: a Linux lord with Jean-Luc Picard patience. On a chilly January night in 2005, a journey through space and time began for us when we decided to expand our family through adoption. Our journey to find the child meant for us has led us all over the galaxy, but in the end, we've come back home to adopt a child domestically.

Earning his Good Husband Points

Picard was quick to point out that I hadn't shared what a good husband he is in my last post. He's traveled to Chicago and Dallas over the past week. Since he hasn't been home to help handle the extra work load, he knows how important it is to come home bearing gifts. The two kitty statues pictured above are my gifts from Dallas. There is an orange cat that looks like Pippa and a Black cat that looks like Elakshi. Aren't they adorable? I can't wait to take them to work and put them on my desk. Good Picard. Please leave him a comment to encourage more good husband deeds.

Al is the best son-in-law a Mom could ask for her daughter.
And will be a great father for Ava.

Oh Dear Alan, buy all the sweet presents now. In no time, those adorable cats will give way to you walking in the door with Princess toys and Elmo DVDs. I've gladly given up my little surprises for Miss Sara's little gifts.
Although, whomever decided to give Elmo that voice should be held accountable.

Good gift my man! Lori
